Terms & Conditions
First Visit
Arrive 10 minutes prior to your first float session to allow ample time to check in and prepare for your treatment. Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, reducing its effectiveness and your pleasure. Please shower before your float and remove all makeup (do not use conditioner). After your session is over, please take another shower to wash all of the salt off. You can wash and condition your hair as normal.
Late Policy
If arrival is delayed, we will make every effort to accommodate your full appointment, but this is not always possible. Your appointment time may be abbreviated to avoid delays for other guests’ appointment and are charged at full value. Last-minute changes to appointments will be accommodated only if another appointment is available for a later time on the same day and other guests are not inconvenienced.
Cancellation and No-Show Policy
Guests who book appointments and cannot join us for their scheduled booking are granted full credit at the float room or a refund, provided the cancellation is made at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. We do not provide refunds for no-show appointments. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment are non-refundable.
All gift voucher sales are final, with no refunds. If an appointment made to redeem a gift voucher is not cancelled or rescheduled within the reasonable times stated in the policies above, we will be unable to redeem your certificate. Gift Certificates are valid for 90 days, please ensure you let the recipient know and respect that we cannot extend this timeframe.
We understand that life happens, but we also appreciate your cooperation.
Payments & Gratuity
Payment will be taken at the time of booking, preferably online. If you are unable to complete your booking and payment online feel free to call and we can assist you with your booking over the phone. Gratuity is not required, but if you have a truly remarkable experience and would like to reward an employee with a tip, feel free to do so.
Special Conditions
Please contact us before booking your float if you have special physical concerns. You will be asked to agree to important conditions regarding your health at the time of booking.
Age Requirement
You must be over the age of 16 to float.
Quiet Environment
As a courtesy to other guests, please maintain a quiet level of conversation. Cell phones must be put on vibrate while in the float space. Cell phone use is discouraged, both in consideration of other clients and also so you can relax as much as possible.
Pricing
Prices are subject to change.
Contamination
In the event of contamination caused by the guest, Float Marlborough Ltd reserve the right to charge a cleaning and salt replacement fee, which in some cases could be up to $500.
You cannot float if…
You have open wounds
You have any infectious diseases
You suffer from psychotic attacks
You have experienced diarrhoea in the preceding 14 days
You have epilepsy that is not under medical control
You are undergoing chemotherapy
Have a serious heart condition
You are unable to enter and exit the float pod without assistance (unless you bring your own assistant)
You are menstruating or in the first trimester of pregnancy
You are under the influence of any drugs or alcohol
You have dyed your hair or applied tanning products within the preceding 72 hours
Loyalty Card
The Float Marlborough loyalty card is available to all clients. It will be kept on the premises and offers clients 50% off the advertised price of their 5th session and the 10th float free of charge.
Only full priced sessions will count toward the loyalty card. The loyalty card cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount offer.
The timeframe between the 1st and 9th float can be no longer that 18 months, with a further 60 days to redeem the free float.
The 50% discount and the free float can be used on any of our advertised sessions, subject to availability.
The 50% discounted float and the free float must be booked by Float Marlborough staff. Clients can email staff with their availability and our staff will book your session and apply the discount a the time of booking.
